In order to receive a student scholarship, you are obligated to arrive on Friday, March 24, by the start of the first session, and stay through Monday, March 27 to attend lobby visits on Capitol Hill. The scholarship application deadline is Friday, February 24, 2017.

Did you know that women working full time in the US earn only 80% of what men earn? It is time for pay equity!

Register online by February 11 to join this workshop, hosted by NC Works on Saturday, February 18, and learn the facts about the gender pay gap, how to research a fair market salary, respond to salary offers, and create a strategic pitch. Facilitator Brandy Propst, Director of Elon 101 & Assistant Director of Academic Advising at Elon University, will also offer direction on developing critical salary negotiation skills.
