UNCG’s Department of Communication Studies, in collaboration with the programs in African American and African Diaspora Studies and Women’s and Gender, hosts this year’s Harriet Elliot Lecture Series, centering on the timely topic of “Voice, Activism, and Democracy,” with a special keynote address by internationally renowned scholar Dr. Larry Frey on Wednesday, March 29, followed by an excellent day of events on Thursday, March 30.
